Some Christians are not pleased with some of Brett Kavanaughs decisions in the Supreme Court & they are criticizing him. This is no different than what many in the body of Christ did to President Trump & is one of many reasons we are now in our current situation in our Nation. God's word tells us to not strike each other if we wish to be heard on high, nor is that how we invite God to heal our land. In order for God to hear us and to heal our land we must humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways of doing things (Isaiah 58:4, 2 Chronicles 7:14).

Your fasting ends in quarreling and strife, and in striking each other with wicked fists. You cannot fast as you do today and expect your voice to be heard on high (Isaiah 58:4 NIV).

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land (Chronicles 7:14 NIV)

While we must always hold people accountable & want corruption to be exposed in leadership positions, because whom much is given much more should be required. Being critical of a person is not what God has called us to do. He has called us to pray (Ephesians 6:18 NIV). All we need to seek as Christians is to know what Gods will is & who is Gods will for these positions and once we know who God wants in these positions, we must submit and align with Gods will & we must then commit to pray for them.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people (Ephesians 6:18 NIV).

When Brett Kavanaugh was up for the Supreme Court seat & a lot of people were attacking him, I began to pray (you could see that this was Gods chosen because of the fight that was on it). When I prayed seeking the Lord for Brett & this position, praying for Gods will to be done. The Lord gave me a song to prophetically sing over him. It was called, Who You Say I Am, by Hillsong. The part the Lord had me sing prophetically over Kavanaugh was the bridge and he had me replace a few words with Brett's name.

I am chosen

Not forsaken

I am who You say I am

You are for me

Not against me

I am who You say I am

Brett, you are Chosen

Not forsaken

You are who God says you are

He is for you

Not against you

You are who God says you are!

Brett Kavanaugh, like President Trump was chosen for his position & as Christian, we need to hold him accountable. But, we must also pray for him not be judgmental or critical towards him and trust that God knows what He is doing and that He is good.

Prayer

Father, forgive us for always thinking we know better than you what needs to happen, and who needs to be in positions to rule your land. I thank you for all that you've given us and the gift of your son. I thank you that you know the plans you have for us and they are not to harm us, but to give us a hope and a future. Help us to become humbled and submissive to the work of your hand. Help us to turn from hurling accusations at one another and help us to become people who pray for one another in Jesus name. Father, we lift your son Brett up to you, help him to do what you have placed him there to do. Help him to not succumb to fear or intimidation, but to be a man after your own heart and to serve your people for you with fear and trembling. Help us to do our part, help us to pray! In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Have you been saved?

If you are someone who has not been saved. I would like to ask you, do you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead? If you believe that then declare openly with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. If you do these things, then you are, in fact, saved, and I would like to welcome you to the body of Christ.

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Have you been Holy Spirit Filled?

If you would like to receive power in your walk with God, welcome the Holy Spirit into your life today.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
